Welcome to Club P-K, the meeting place that's your place
in Huntington and St. James.
If you've been looking for a comfortable setting to meet
new people, or you and your friends simply need a change of
scenery, the Pederson-Krag Center's new drop-in program, Club
P-K, is the place for you.
Club P-K provides a drug-free environment where adults with
mental illness can socialize in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.
Come in for the fun of it.
Club P-K offers you a variety of activities. You can enjoy
board games and ping pong, which serve as great ways to meet
new friends. Sit back and relax with one of our regular features,
a video movie. Explore your creativity with arts and crafts
projects. Or take advantage of our complete computer facility,
which comes fully loaded with games, word processing and state-of-the-art
graphics programs. You can even enjoy a light meal and refreshments-all
at no charge.
You're invited to drop by any of our regularly scheduled
evening get-togethers at the Pederson-Krag Center in Huntington
or St. James.
Relaxed environment.
Club P-K is not a treatment program. Our mission is simply
to provide adults age 18 or older with opportunities to socialize
in a positive environment. Club P-K is a Consumer Initiative
Program funded by New York State. The individuals who operate
the program are all consumers of mental health services and
understand your needs.

No enrollment or registration is required at Club P-K. Simply
drop in to any of the program's regularly scheduled gatherings.
