Mission Statement
To offer a continuum of out-patient mental health and chemical dependency services;
To provide quality services to individuals in a manner that fosters dignity and respect and empowers individuals to become full participants in their own recovery and independent members of the community;
To engage significant others (when appropriate) in supporting family and friends diagnosed with major mental illnesses in order to facilitate successful outcomes;
To provide support, consultation and educational services to civic groups, community members, families and advocates;
To work with government and community towards the goal of eliminating the stigma associated with mental illness;
To outreach to the community at large including agencies, schools, places of worship and civic organizations for the purpose of sharing resources , building bridges and being a constructive presence in the community;
To provide a supervised practicum for students from a variety of professional disciplines and educational levels;
To promote education and research in mental health and chemical dependency which will result in strengthening and expanding the knowledge base upon which treatment interventions are based.
